Teroson RB 2785 is a black, solvent free, permanently plastic sealant based on butyl rubber.Teroson RB 2785 shows its final properties directly after application, no curing is necessary.As a butyl sealant Teroson RB 2785 demonstrates the following characteristics:
– high tackiness
– high strength
– good temperature resistance
– low water vapour permeability
– easy deformability at little forces
When applied hot, Teroson RB 2785 softens to a large extent, although it does not melt. Due to this behavior it can be easily applied with automatic pumping equipment. At low temperature Teroson RB 2785 retains its plastic properties without becoming brittle.
